SUMMARY:Family cancer workshop
DESCRIPTION:This is a free workshop for all the family\, to help understand cancer\, what it is and how it can be treated. It includes a show with singing and dancing\, followed by activities for kids to take part in to explain more about cancer and its treatment. Information will be provided on chemotherapy\, radiotherapy\, side effects of treatments\, blood tests\, cancer myths\, and who is in a hospital team. \nThis event is most relevant to families who want to find out more about cancer\, especially if a parent\, grandparent or another important adult has a cancer diagnosis. Suitable for all ages.
